Kittredge House, Roxbury. 1836.

The Alvah Kittredge House, in Roxbury, dates from 1836. Once grand, it was almost abandoned and derelict until a recent restoration by Historic Boston, Inc. Mayor Walsh and neighborhood dignitaries attended the celebration of this work last week. Afterwards, some clean-up workers and balloons were still there. A Greek Revival classic.  Preservation at work.
